Financial Assistance

Notre Dame Academy Financial Assistance Programs

Notre Dame Academy offers financial assistance to qualifying, needs-based families in an effort to help as many families as possible obtain Catholic education for their children. A separate application and supporting documentation is required to be considered for financial aid. Admissions decisions and financial aid awards are communicated simultaneously in an acceptance package mailed on April 2, 2010.

The three components of Notre Dame Academy Financial Assistance Program are outlined below. Families may only obtain funding from one of the following programs. The application process is the same for all three components. Students who qualify for the Middle School Scholarship maybe required to provide additional documentation.

Tuition Assistance Program: This program involves a reduction in tuition to qualifying, needs-based families with children in Pre-K3 through 8th Grade.

Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program: Notre Dame Academy partners with Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, Inc. to provide needs-based scholarships to students entering Pre –K or Kindergarten or who are transferring from a Georgia public school.

Middle School Scholarship Program: This program has been recently developed to support academically-talented middle school students whose families are economically unable to afford private school education. In addition to academic strength, qualifying students must demonstrate faithfulness, service commitment, and leadership. The application process entails completion of a Notre Dame Academy application and an application for financial assistance, submission of school transcripts, completion of a placement test, and an interview with the Middle School Principal.  Further, in order to sustain the scholarship through 8th Grade, recipient students must achieve the following each semester:

  • maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • demonstrate faithfulness, service commitment, and leadership
  • qualify for financial aid
