CURRENT OPENINGS:

Senior Accountant

Notre Dame Academy, an Independent Marist Catholic and International Baccalaureate World School, is seeking a Senior Accountant for immediate placement. This position is responsible for the accounting operations of the school to include preparation of financial reports. This position will report directly to the CFO. The ideal candidate will have an understanding and belief in the mission of the school.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the financial close and preparation of consolidated financial statements including maintaining strong internal controls
  • Recommend and implement process improvements within the Business Office
  • Lead contact with outside auditors
  • Issue timely and accurate management reports to the Board of Directors
  • Report variances to budget and highlight any significant issues to management

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Solid understanding of GAAP
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 yrs of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with limited supervision
  • Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills

Business Office

Notre Dame Academy, an Independent Marist Catholic and International Baccalaureate World School, is seeking an immediate placement in the Business Office. This position is responsible for Business Office operations including payroll, benefits administration, and accounts receivable. This position will report directly to the CFO. The ideal candidate will have an understanding and belief in the mission of the school.

  • Responsible for general Business Office activities

  • Provide customer service support to faculty and staff
  • Recommend and implement process improvements within the Business Office

  • Degree in Business Administration
  • School business office experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 yrs of administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with limited supervision
  • Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills

Bus Drivers

Notre Dame Academy, an Independent Marist Catholic and International Baccalaureate World School, is seeking reliable, experienced bus drivers for the 2016-17 school year. Primary responsibilities would include the safe transportation of Notre Dame Academy students, teachers and chaperones to and from offsite field trips on weekdays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Applicants must:

   have a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements

   be at least 25 years of age

   have at least 2 years of commercial driving experience in a comparable class of vehicle

   be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle

   have a good driving history as shown on Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

   pass a criminal background check

   have a good rapport with children
