Welcome to Notre Dame Academy's Athletic Department. The athletic programs at Notre Dame Academy are built to allow each student-athlete the chance to succeed on the court, field, track, pool, or floor. Whether it is on the court, in the classroom, or out in the community, the Notre Dame Academy student-athlete is an example of determination, courage, and respect. We have athletic opportunities for all of our students to be involved in.
While we want all of our student-athletes at Notre Dame Academy to "Play Like A Champion", we also want them to live like a champion, compete like a champion, and be a member of the community like a champion. To that end, all of our athletic programs encompass skill development in their specific areas but also character development to focus on developing the whole athlete, leadership, competitive drive, and a sense of community.
Starting in lower school, our students have the chance to compete recreationally in flag football, Catholic Metro League Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer, as well as participate in intramural track and field events. When student athletes get to middle school, the teams are starting to incorporate skills, drills, and concepts that their respective varsity coaches would like to see for their team. These middle school teams are a great time for our student-athletes to learn how to compete but also how to be a Notre Dame Academy Student-Athlete on the field, in the community, and in the classroom. Once in Upper School, our JV and Varsity teams are developing well-conditioned, high character students that can compete with class and pride on their field of play.
Thank you to ND Academy parent, Jim Arnette, for capturing the building of our new athletic field!
