Unwind with Notre Dame Academy Summer Camps!
Notre Dame Academy Summer Programs allow children the opportunity to explore their areas of interest, whether it be at sports camp, technology camp, art camp, or a foreign language camp, in a fun and inviting setting.
Day Camp:
Come unwind with us at Notre Dame Academy and join us for two day camp sessions this summer! At Camp UnwiND, campers will be divided into Dens, led by a well-trained Den Leader, as well as Assistant Den Leaders. Each camp day will feature a fun activity; whether it's the pool, a field trip to ZooAtlanta, or a movie and skills clinic. Camp UnwiND is sure to be a fun, safe, and exciting way to spend your weeks this summer! Lunch, prepared by Metz Culinary Dining is provided to all campers during Camp UnwiND.
Specialty Camps:
Discover S.M.I.L.E. Camp at the EYC
Students will enjoy activies in Science, Math, Literature, and engineering incorporating inquiry, discovery, experiments, team building activities, games, and enjoy learning through having fun!
Intro to Drones by Drone Genius
Come experience the "Thrill of the Flight."
- TECH: You will learn the exciting world of operating drones by using basic coding to design flight plans, mapping coordinates and completing flight missions using flight software.
-FUN: You will have loads of fun in our DRONE RACING SPEEDWAY, DRONE OBSTACLE COURSES, and DRONE SCAVENGER HUNTS.
-FLIGHT: You'll be paired with a "flight pack" (drone + iPad) on Day 1! Together you and your drone-partner will learn everything you need to know in order to be safe, legal and friendly in the missions and games that lie ahead for the rest of the session. Throughout the term, you'll also learn the mechanics of flight so you';ll understand "why" drones work. You will even have hands-on time with the resident PRO Drone where you'll capture and upload video for your parents to see!
Participants will learn engineering, teamwork, problem solving, programming, math and physics in a completely exciting way. There are always new pieces added to this exciting field of study so you can join us season after season and always try something new.
Irish Basketball Camp with Coach Campbell
We put the FUN in fundamental at Coach Campbell's Basketball Camp! The camp day goes from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, and will allow for each camper to be grouped by ability level and age, where they will learn the fundamentals of basketball: dribbling, passing, shooting, and how to play defense.
Art Camp Around the World with Mrs. Johnson
We will be looking at art from around the world and YOU get to decide where we go!
Students will even enjoy snacks that represent the nations they study.
Perhaps we will learn about block printing and cherry blossoms from Japan while eating candy sushi!
Every day will include some recess time outside and, as always, some fun music!
Creep Bugs at Spanish Camp
The camp is hands-on and totally immersed in Latin American Culture. The children will learn basic expressions and activities such as dances, songs, fun games, and crafts. The children will experience our dynamic and fun native-speaking teachers!
On Fridays, children will enjoy our traditional Piñata created by the students and Pizza for lunch.
Girls Basketball Camp with Coach Thayer
Planets and Space with Spanish Camp
The camp is hands-on and totally immersed in Latin American Culture. The children will learn basic expressions and activities such as dances, songs, fun games, and crafts. The children will experience our dynamic and fun native-speaking teachers!
