Welcome to Notre Dame Academy's Athletic Department. The athletic programs at Notre Dame Academy are built to allow each student-athlete the chance to succeed on the court, field, track, pool, or floor. Whether it is on the court, in the classroom, or out in the community, the Notre Dame Academy student-athlete is an example of determination, courage, and respect. We have athletic opportunities for all of our students to be involved in.
Starting with Lower School, our students have the opportunity to compete recreationally in the Catholic Metro League of Atlanta (CMLA) for volleyball, basketball, and soccer. When student-athletes move on to Middle School, they start to incorporate skills, drills, and concepts that their respective varsity coaches would like to see for their teams. These Middle School teams not only provide the student-athletes with opportunities to compete but also how to represent the values of Notre Dame Academy on the field, court, trail, or track, in the community, and in the classroom. Once in Upper School, our JV and Varsity teams are developing well-conditioned, high-character student-athletes who can compete with distinction and pride in their sport. With the onset of the 2024-2025 school year, Notre Dame Middle School and Upper School teams will compete in the Georgia Association of Private and Parochial Schools (GAPPS). Notre Dame Academy’s transition to GAPPS reflects a commitment to enhancing athletic competitiveness, fostering regional rivalries, providing multiple participation opportunities for student-athletes, and encouraging growth in religious faith and service to the community.
